Weight Watcher Magazine
During my time working at Weight Watchers, I was tasked with working on features that are consistent in each issue. I would curate an image option to be placed in the layout, as well as find stock images that would go with the article. I would place the text in the layout and make sure it was formatted based on the style guide. Once images and layout were approved, I would prep the files to be sent to the printer. This would require retouching the stock images, stock images, and labeling and placing the print-ready file in its proper location for print. I learned a lot about formatting text, images, and layout while working on the magazine and the cookbooks. I also had the opportunity to attend photo shoots with the creative director, and understand how food is stylized and photographed based on what the recipe and story is.
